Summary of the Digital Learning Team
Our aim as the Digital Learning Team is to support schools in Hartlepool to improve their digital learning offer. This encompasses remote / blended learning and also supporting our schools and teachers to improve their digital education when all learners are back in classrooms. We see the work we are doing as having a long-lasting positive impact on the education of Hartlepool’s young people. Initially we aim to set up a website that will contain lots of resources, links, and training on the remote education platforms our schools are using in the town currently. We are beginning to make links with other external organisations such as High Tide, the PFC Trust, and other Digital Learning Teams / Schools across the North East Region. As a team, we are looking forward to working with them to support our schools and parents with remote education and digital learning. We will also aim to partner schools who are less confident in their remote education offer with those who are a shining example of using technology effectively to enhance collaboration across schools. We will be available to offer advice to schools, share good practice and hope to eventually plan virtual events where our schools can come together to discuss and share their expertise and experience with digital learning.
